The Story

D is what I called my stepdad, Mike. When I was 6 years old, he taught me how to make French toast. I was so proud of myself, I put a sign in our kitchen window advertising my French toast restaurant. Nobody came. I'm 43 now and I'm ready to try again.

FAQ

What are your hours?

D's is open one weekend a month from 11am to 1pm, or until we sell out, whichever comes first. Check the dates listed above for the current schedule!

How do I order?

You can order in person at the pink front door. Please wait outside and someone will come to take your order. Orders are for pickup/to-go only. D's is cashless; we take payment via Venmo or Zelle.

Is there seating? Coffee? Anything other than French toast?

No! Just French toast. But Elysian Park is nearby and that's a great place to take your toast. You can get coffee in the area at Stereoscope, Granada, Canyon, Woodcat, Valerie or McDonald's. There are also no gluten-free or vegan options, sorry.
